Designing Logos is a hobby of mine that I would like to turn into a side business. I have been working in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop for the last two years in preparation for designing my own store graphics and someday I would like to offer my services to women who have had to start over late in life like I have and help them to build a future independent of others. There are many things for me to learn, but I am really enjoying creating art in a new way.

 

The three logos you see above were all created in Adobe Illustrator. The first logo is for a roofing company. Can you guess their name? That's right, Storm Roofing. Logo two was developed after an idea I have been carrying around for a while in my mind. It was nice to see how it evolved on the screen. The service company that this logo is for is Sprout Electric, an electrician. The last logo has really changed a lot since the first sketches. When I did a survey of my friends and family the first sketches were unrecognizable. I hope that you can see that it is for a Home Healthcare service. The name of their business is Heart Home Care.

 

I enjoyed creating these logos. It gave me some really great experience working with the pencil tool (Logo 2 was almost completely designed with the pencil tool). I had a few obsticles to overcome, but all in all it was a great experience.
